Match2Vote is a voting app that helps users explore elections by organizing vital election information about issues, candidates, and policies in one place.
Users begin by answering a short survey about the issues that matter to them. For each issue, they can indicate their stance, the importance of the issue, or choose to remain neutral.
Next, users enter their voting location so the app can display elections and candidates relevant to their ballot.
Using publicly available information, Match2Vote compares the user’s stated priorities with candidate positions, highlighting areas of alignment, difference, and uncertainty. In some views, this candidate alignment is expressed as an alignment percentage, reflecting issue overlap only and not constituting a recommendation.
Match2Vote prioritizes user privacy; it does not collect or store user data. Survey responses are not saved, no accounts are created, and there is no tracking or profiling. The experience is designed to remain private by default.
